The body of the ZITEX Conventional Smoke Detector, model ZI-S 815, is made of heat-resistant ABS and is designed in such a way that the body shows good resistance to impact and vibration. Double elevator contacts and anticipation of enough space behind the detector to enter the zone wires and remote indicator will create a standard and secure connection. In addition, chrome plating of all metal parts provides complete protection against corrosion.

The two LEDs continuously indicate the operating status of the detector (flashing green means normal status and solid red means alarm status). Using false reflectors and specialized processors, protection against false alarms is provided (F.A.P technology). The detector circuit is made of two-layer metallic fiberglass with SMT technology for assembling electronic components, and the protective layer on the circuit prevents the circuit from being affected in corrosive and humid environments.
