The body of Zitex ZI-H 715 heat detectors is made of heat-resistant ABS plastic. Other features of the detector materials include providing enough space behind the detector to enter the zone wires and remote indicator, as well as the use of double elevator terminals and chrome plating of all metal parts to protect against corrosion. The two LEDs show the detector operation continuously (flashing green: normal / solid red: alarm). The detector circuit is protected against reverse polarity.

The circuit used in the detector is made of duplex metallized fiberglass and the electronic components are assembled on the circuit using SMT technology. Hardware and software technology for the elimination of false noise and alarms (F.A.P) makes the detector safe against electromagnetic noise and false alarms. It is possible to connect the detector to the remote and both thermal class extensions (S and R) are included in the products.
